ESPN just said that the record in head-to-head match-ups between the SEC and PAC-10 over the last 5 years is 6-3 with the advantage going to the PAC-10. In addition, all 3 victories for the SEC were by LSU.

Which teams were playing? I know USC beat Auburn and Arkansas in that time.

Since 2000, UCLA beat Bama twice, Oregon beat Miss State twice, USC beat Auburn twice and Arkansas once. LSU beat Arizona, ASU, and Oregon State. The SEC is 3-7 since 2000 against the Pac 10.

Well let's make it 6-4 tomorrow and put a dent in Cal's Championship hopes for the year.....that's just a number too....That doesn't mean that the conference is better than the SEC just that those teams have been.....Or those teams have gotten extremely lucky

So other than the USC win over the overrated Auburn team in 2003, nothing really unexpected.

LSU struggled with/beat OSU and ASU though. Don't remember how the Arizona game went.

LSU destroyed Arizona, USC beat a #1 Auburn team at Auburn and UCLA beat a #3 Bama team.

I'd forgot about Alabama being good at the time, but the 2003 Auburn team ended up losing, what, 4 or 5 games?

USC beat an EXTREMELY OVERRATED Auburn team.....That was supposed to be Auburn's year and they came out and screwed the pooch.....Not sure about the UCLA and Bama game
