I've heard that so many times over the past decade, but it conveniently ignores the fact that Bama just finished a growth initiative, so they were naturally accepting a greater number of students. Even during that time, Bama has consistently ranked higher than UT in USN&WR's rankings.

Care to address the issue that UT's scholarship football players carry less than a C average?

Add in the Conference-USA Honor Roll
(UT and Alabama compete in C-USA in rowing, since there are no other Varsity Rowing squads in the SEC)

Same 3.0 requirements, etc.

well, you have to remember that I am originally a Gator. . . so this is sort of a touchy spot for me as the father of a LadyVol. . . . . .

I think the football team is probably eating enough paste to carry the whole athletic department.

My kid has relayed a few stories about the football players in her psychology class, crowding around her desk every class after they found out what her test grades were.

Thanks. We are all pretty proud of her. She has just a few concerns in life

1) winning
2) not losing
2b) ties are considered losses
3) getting into UT Vet School
d) time with her family

Pretty much in that order.
