We have a thread about the best of the SEC, so I thought individual fanbases could say what they believe is their team's weaknesses.

As UF fan, I am obviously extremely worried about QB. Have almost no confidence in JB but if anyone can get anything out of him it is Weis. I also don't want to have to start a freshman in Driskel or RS freshman in Murphy.

The area that is not getting as much press is the questions on the Oline. We have to replace 4 starters. Also Nixon has supposed got down to as low as 250lbs and Patchan and Wilson while 5 start talents have always been injured and may never contribute.

Also a little worried about our WR. We have talnet but they haven't produced as they should.

Defensively I am not really worried at all. We have tons of talent, and I think Muschamp will do wonders with that group.

So how bout your team?

The secondary (minus JJ) is still a work in progress but with Brewer and Prentiss Wangner (sp?) coming on there's hope.

The OL is still young but at least has some players with some experience now.

LB's are, I think, the biggest concern. Speed. Inexperience. Lack of depth. Not an ideal situation.

1. Secondary
2. O-Line
3. QB, pending Garcia's return.
4. Kick-off Coverage

In order, my biggest concerns are

1. A horrific offensive line from 2010 with 4 seniors is being replaced with 4 new starters who couldn't beat out those seniors last season.

2. Our most productive tailback is 180 pounds with rocks in his pocket, and he's been a bigger threat to his 34 year-old girlfriend than he is to opposing defenses....and he's running behind that offensive line. I pray Demps stays healthy this season and doesn't bolt to Europe to make millions running track.

3. We have no gamebreakers at receiver. Debose should be that guy, Clark could be that guy. Hines is a good possession receiver. After that it's a bunch of green kids with no experience.

4. Our QB has the yips, and will likely not have much time to dump off 4-yard safety valve passes to our inexperienced wide receivers on 3rd and 11.

Defensively we have a chance to be good this year and great next year. Depth is an issue at some positions (DE, LB), but the talent is exceptional.

Alabama

Kicking game - Foster had trouble in the A-Day game
QB - Inexperienced, lots of talent. How will they respond in real games? Will they even need a quarterback?
RB - The fourth string rb is a red shirt senior. He didn't look nearly as good as the first three.

I would imagine Bama will have to find some sort of go to guy without Juilio (sp?)

I thought the real question was if Weis and Muschamp could co-exist... :)

can a Ky fan even respond to this without stating the obvious?

I won't take the 527 bait, but here goes:

I would add greatest need is to replace a viable replacement for Locke at RB, although Ray Sanders has run it well in the Spring. At present, there are big questions at WR after losing Randall Cobb. UK's OL is expected to be very strong. Morgan Newton will have to step it up- no resting easy since he no longer has Hartline or Mossakowski are no longer on campus.

On Defense, UK has implemented a new 3-4 defense under new DC Rick Minter that has at times stymied UK's offense throughout the spring. Still, you gotta line up 11 and stop the run, no matter what look you give 'em. I'm not buying the hype just yet, if ever.

That relationship won't implode immediately.

Both of those guys have too much work in front of them to bs bothered with each other right now.

If Muschamp is smart, he'll let Weiss do his thing similar to how Spurrier eventually left Bob Stoops alone in the mid/late 90s.

At the A-Day game, I missed our midget manager. "Little people," for those easily offended. If we find him, we should be OK.

Can't think of anything else.

He still hasn't gotten over the barn winning a NC.

Check Toomer's Corner.

lol that reminded me so much of the tn offense not too long ago at all...
for TN its Linebacker play should be our greatest weakness, if couch is an adequate DT we will simply have to worry about our slow linebackers outside of herman covering the spread option and intermediate to short passing game... this is how offenses should attack us IMO
