NOW. . . .anybody want to argue about the competition in the SEC? How does this stuff happen?

Arkansas lights up an Auburn team that shuts down a powerful LSU. Then, Auburn beats a Florida team that blanks a UT rushing game, in Neyland. Vanderbilt, ahem, ahem. Sorry, I choked. Vanderbilt beats Georgia (last week a top-10 team) ON HOMECOMING. Alabama struggles with an Ole Miss team that has looked (sorry, wife) much more like a D-2 school. The list goes on. . . .

Is this parity, or what?

Bottom line: shut up midwest and west coast. If you want to see big-time football -- here we are.

The way things went today, I wouldn't be surprised if the bye week didn't take us to overtime today.

You forgot that little tidbit about USC destroying your SEC West leaders on the road then turning right back around and barely escaping three Pac-10 foes. :whistling:

Just kidding. SEC is teh rulz.

My favorite part of today was seeing Iowa, my favorite whipping boys, exposed yet again. You think everyone will see through them finally?

Trust me . . .USC wants no part of Arkansas right now.

You guys ought to see the general demeanor down here right now. The whole state is in a funk. I'm concerned that it's going to affect the economy.

I agree that the sec is clearly the dominant conference, but the vandy/uga game certainly doesn't help that argument

I understand Ga Moonshiners are doing really well. Nothing like a couple of home losses to make you want to have a few drinks. Invest in Ga Rehab Centers.....business will be booming right after the outdoor cocktail party thingy.

Isnt it grand? Im enjoying every minute of it. :)

If anyone wants to see what he is talking about, check out the forums (blogs) on the ajc.com, under the sports section. Uga fans want to fire EVERYONE, and pretty much every one in the state (including lots of Vol and Ga Tech fans) are ripping on them. Considering all the crap Ive had to listen to for the past four years, it is priceless. :post-4-1090547912:

The other conferences know which SEC teams to try to schedule and which ones to leave alone. Let usc, cal, osu, oklahoma, nd, texas, and all the other high and mighties play in the SEC for one year and then they will understand.
