I'm trying to be optimistic, but can't quite get there. I wish the boys would have saved some of the bar fight for Saturday.

I'm not sure what is going to happen. I just want to see us make it through the first 10 minutes of the game without giving Auburn any gifts.

Just like 5 of 7 SEC games this season... the Vols win by less than 7 points.

Even if the Vols build a lead, look for Aubie to close the gap to within 7 points before the final horn. This Vols team is resilient... but they don't know how to close out a big win.

Good or bad, it seems that the Vols seem to play to the level of their competition. Couple that with the fact that the 1st AU/UT game would have been been a pretty close match without UTs total meltdown and 6 gifts, and I think it'll be close either way.

BTW... Great forum, I finally joined after lurking, so nice to "meet" ya'll.

I am actually feeling pretty good about this game! Nobody seems to be giving the guys a chance outside of UT fans and the team! I also have a great feeling we will be able to tackle this game!!!!

I think that if we win, it would only be by a field goal. So since you don't have that option, I am going all out and voting THE VOLS BY 3 TD'S!!!!! :gun:

Rick Clausen is playing as well as EA and BS. How many times did you see EA throwing a pass across his body -- trying to fit it in -- sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Great potential but an INT. waiting to happen.

Bottomline, I don't see a drop off with RC other than the deep ball which we rarely threw anyway (not enough IMO)

Aggressive O-line, Ced's last SEC game, Jesse stuffing the middle (let's hope the secondary steps up) and we are golden.

We will leave ATL as SEC champs and go to the Sugar Bowl --- just as the SEC champ should. :rocks:

Might I add putting pressure on Campbell and improved special teams. One thing is for sure though, we don't lack in the optimism department! Go Vols....beat the crap out of Auburn!
