UGA is probably the best in the east, before the season we would have said USC was the second best but I'm not convinced they are. Mizzou just lost to Indiana (LOL) Florida has 1 WR, 1 RB and no secondary - who is the second best team?

Vols are first. Don't give a damn who is second.

UGA has the most talent on paper but they lost to SC. SC's defense looks completely inept even though they beat UGA. UT looks like the best team on the field outside of the offensive line looking very suspect. Fix the kick return stupidity and get a little better Oline play and this team should win the East.

That's the spirit.

Good question, but not sure that we have enough data points to make a good guess at this time!

south carolina and uga are the only teams with good wins easy choice imo sc has 2 of them in uga and ecu dont see how you can say uk or tenn has looked better

I'd still give SC the nod due to Spurrier and his nice win over UGA even though they lost to Texas A&M. I mean A&M is a top 5 team IMO and is in a tough conference.
1) UGA
2) USC
3)-5) ???
6) UK
7) Vandy

I think you're pretty close to what I was thinking.
1. UGA
2. USC
3. UF?
4. UT
5. UK
6. Mizzou
7. Vandy

I'm sorry but Mizzou has no business losing to Indiana.

What gives me pause is the way they won their games, they didn't have control until late in the game - an elite team dominates from the opening kickoff schools like ECU and Vandy.

Mizzou has no business losing to IU.

UK has to show me more before I'm a believer.

Florida seems to play in spite of terrible coaching

UT gets an incomplete like UK

Vandy is turrible
