That' very true. That's one of those jobs that you get no recognition for. The only time people talk about you is when they are mad about a call.

..and the worst part was he never had anything to offer to make things better.

He would have been much more popular if he had the authority to exile errant officials to labor camps or at least make them pick up trash on the campus of the school they screwed.
