I remembered seeing this a while back and went back and found it.

Southeast Recruiting Blog - ESPN

Tennessee's staff is cleaning up. Just think if we land Gran and we could have had Garner as well. This is a very impressive run that Kiffin is on. He said give me time and it will come together. Boy was he right.

Someone brought up an interesting point in the Coaching Staff thread on the main board. What are the chances that Gran is brought in for WR and Drayton is retained?

I would say the availability of Gonzo has everything to do with this, but I am beginning to think it might play out with Gran and Drayton on staff.

The article says talks about Nix at Ole Miss. It has been argued that he was more instrumental in Ole Miss' success than Orgeron.

Stan Drayton is the only one we have on the list. He didn't get Giles. So, what is the reason for so much excitement?

I agree. I am excited about the staff and direction. It should unfold very nicely in the next few years. But, the staff hasn't proved anything in recruiting, yet!!!

Sorry, I am behind time. I should have read the older threads first. I didn't realize we stole Lance from Bama, awesome! Now, lets get Gonzales for the grandslam!

Lane Kiffin is the number one recruiter in the SEC, if not the nation. He recruited the best people for the best staff. He has talent, few, if any can match.
