I just looked at my Auburn tickets for the first time, and I'm sitting in section H, lower level. Is that not student seating?

GO VOLS..
GO BIG ORANGE ....

This must be old an old seating chart. Band sits in section H and student section goes into section J and maybe even over to section K.

Depends on your age, but sitting in the student section could be hazardous to your health!

Also, student seating starts in E now. D is no longer part of the student section. I assume that extends to DD, but not sure.

Depends on what row. I believe it switches from student seating to non-student somewhere around row 50

Thanks, that would explain it, I'm a little higher than row 50. It's been awhile since my days in the student section, and those days are quite a bit hazy. :toast:

Nope on both posts. The band still sits in G.

There is still student seating in D, but the first 15 rows in D are now visitor tickets to bring us in compliance with SEC rules after moving the visitor bench back to the east side.

For the OP, your tickets are probably from the student allotment that were returned and sold to the public. The students returned about 4,000 tickets to this game, all of which have now been sold to the public.

No, the band sits in H. Find a picture of neyland with the band in the stands and you will see they are in H.

I can relate on the student section comment also:eek:k: good times!

Band has been in Section G for a long time. Section G is on either side of an isle, that's probably where the confusion is coming from.

I picked up a pair in FF from the recent release. Looks like we are in the student section, sweet. At least the old lady is a vol.

If you compare this image to the seating chart the band is clearly in section H. I don't know how it can be any more clearer. You can see the aisle that splits section G into two sections like ATC mentions and the band in is section h. The jumbotron is the full screen so this photo is taken within the last few years.

With that said, it really doesn't matter since that was not the question the OP was asking. Go Vols!

The seats the band sits in are ticketed as G. You can show me whatever picture you want, but I'm looking at the student allotment and what seats are blocked out for the band.

EE and FF are student sections but no tickets in those sections were sold to students this week, they were returned.
