Thank goodness they got it right. TCFSU has no business even being associated or mentioned in the same conversation as Division One football.

Get ready for 2 of the 12 spots to go to 2 G5 schools when there will be teams ranked in 11-14 range that get screwed. But in that scenario, they won't use the "best" scenario

Anyone that had the stomach to watch the ACC championship game all the way through, understands that FSU has no business in the final four. Ugliest game in the history of championship games. I understand that it was FSU’s third string quarterback; I also know that Louisville was beaten by the fifth place team in the SEC East- Kensucky. I hate Bama, but FSU has no business in the Bowl Championship series.

I predict within a few years the power conferences (however many that ends up being) break away and form their own league and leave the G5 schools behind once and for all.

Nope, they're even worse than TCU of last year and TCU should never have gone either.

That's 1000% the debate. FSU is not a top 4 team right now. That's all that matters.


Edit: I believe I clarified and said worse than, not equal. TCU at least had their QB.

Florida State didn’t lose a game. texas did. texas only played 4 teams with top 40 talent. You know - like 90% of the SEC. Committee is a joke.

But that is not how the CFP analyzed the rankings.... if it truly is based on the best teams ranked in order, in what world is FSU ahead of Georgia and even Ohio State?

The only coherent explanation is bias.... And if there is bias, that needs to be clarified by the committee as to why they used one formula for part of the rankings and a different for a different part as they are ranking 1-25 today.

The same thing can be said about Bama after last week. They needed a miracle to win against a bad AU team that just got throttled by NMSU the week prior. It’s week to week and the committee just said that the rankings last week were wrong, they are willing to forget the AU game happened now.

And I disagree, with the defense FSU has and if the second string QB is ready a month from now FSU has a punchers chance against any of the 4 teams in the playoff right now. FSU goes undefeated and wins their conference but because they had a bad WIN the last game of the season they get left out?

You'll have to ask the committee I guess, I don't have a vote. Georgia is also a top 4 team right now and they were left out. Maybe because FSU won their conference? Don't know. But 5th and lower don't matter anyway. All in the same boat.

With those rankings, they are saying FSU beats Georgia, but at same time, FSU isn’t one of the best 4 teams, while having 50% of the playoff being 1 loss teams….
