The florida games coming to a close we have the ball on thier 20-25 yard line and driving.. we are down 17-14 with :25 on the clock.. what do you think CLK will do go for the win or OT?

Im goin for the WIN.

For a second, I thought this thread was about Alabama basketball player Senario Hillman...

Unless it's fourth down... any coach is going to try to move the chains. Work the sidelines or go for the end zone if you have no timeouts. Take what you can get if you have time outs. With 25 seconds that's two or three plays. You just tell your quarterback not to force it. I think any coach tries to get 10 yards and then takes a shot at the end zone. I don't know why you wouldn't.

I think any good coach would go for the win. No guarantee that we would beat them in OT.

But taking the heavily favored team into overtime is not at all the same as settling for a tie.

The score makes this "senario" null and void. Holding Florida to 17 points will be impossible

This thread is a clear indication we are ALL awaiting updates from today's practice. Did anyone else hear John Brice on The Sports Animal today? He gave some very good, unbiased updates from Tuesdays and Wednesdays practices. Said OKU was easily the most impressive Freshman out there, anxious to see him in full pads.

if we have 2 more downs you play them,1st you go down the middle 1st down spike the ball and have two plays to the endzone to score 6 if not and that was fourth you must kick the fg. your on the road and you are a better defensive team to this point

this could vary alot depending on where you are between the hash marks . Probaly a couple of corner routes and if that fails, pass or run to a good comfy spot for your kicker

it depends on if kiffin is more like fulmer in that hes on the conservative side or if he is more like les miles or urban or even saban and being more on the aggressive side i think given the short track record kiffin has had so far at ut i would say he will be aggressive. there is a fine line with being to aggressive and being smart at descision making and play calling early on i think kiffin will be aggressive with what he has and in changing the mindset of these players that are leftover from the fulmer era. later on in his career he may play the game a little safer. with that being said hard to believe that we would be down 17 to 14 with 25 seconds left on the clock and on Gators 20 yard line it could happen i guess. I do think it will be closer than the experts think.
