Watching the Morning Joe today, Lamar Alexander and some rip Demo senator were talking about bi-partisan achievements related to education reform. At the end of the segment, one of the smartass hosts said, "Hey Senator, roll tide". Ol' Lamar was quick to retort that we would get them this year. He should have pegged him with his coffee cup.

yep, I see that signature everyday when I look on the wall at my diploma. He's a Vandy grad, a NYU school of Law grad, a Harvard professor, and a UT president. Not really the def of "VFL" so his roll tide dig was a bit misplaced. Would have been more effective if it was Bill Dance or David Keith he said it to.
