Oregon @ Tennessee
Penn St @ Alabama
Michigan @ Notre Dame
FSU @ Oklahoma
Miami @ Ohio St

Wow. I might have to get another tv or two for this day! (Actually I think most of these games have potential to be blowouts, but it's fun to see classic powers go against each other in non-conference games early in the season)

I'm not sure which one you think we be a blowout?? All of those games have the potential to be one possession either way.

Should be a great day of remembrance and a celebration of why this country is great... College Football!!!

IMO, from most likely to be a blowout to most likely to be a close game:
Ohio St > Miami
Alabama > Penn St
Oregon > Tennessee
Oklahoma > FSU
Michigan > ND

(although don't get me wrong - I absolutely hope they all come down to the last possession)

Should be a great day of remembrance and a celebration of why this country is great... College Football!!!

+1 to this

No football for me that day.

I'm going to be on my way back from Charlotte after watching the Kings of Leon concert!

Oregon-Tennessee will be a great game if you like seeing the home team down 28-3 at halftime and watching the crowd leave to go watch real teams play on television.

UT is going to suck wherever they play this season.

Sounds like unstoppable force meets immovable object.

No really, spent quite a bit of time at UofO games last season (and hope to be at this one). I'm predicting a Ducks win but I wouldn't put any money on this game.

Yea, there is only one thing I do on Saturdays in the Fall. Football.

This is the one downside to attending games. I often miss watching some great games on TV......what I don't watch at the tailgate anyway.

Well, technically the concert is Friday. But we may or may not stay overnight and drive back Saturday. I'm lobbying for being home by Saturday at noon though.

The funniest part of all of this is that CBS will not be showing any football that day because of US Open coverage.

My bet is that we'll be a 3 or 4 pm kickoff. Suck or not a lot of people will watch that game.

I wouldn't be so sure... Oregon sucks on the road.

this. their record on the road is horrible over the past 4 years, particurally non conference.

also they are breaking in a new qb and their offense has tended to take a couple of games to get soing since kelly got there.

i bet it's a close game.

Wait, I thought we play better as the underdog...
