The 4th-ranked 4-0 Glencoe Crimson Tide go to Hillsboro Stadium tonight, to play the 3-1 Century Jaguars. Glencoe is fresh off a 56-15 league opening rout of the Parkrose Broncos, in which Glencoe combo-back Puckett had well in excess of 200 all-purpose yards, 4 rushing touchdowns and 1 receiving touchdown in the first half. Century is attempting to recover from a 21-0 league opening shutout loss to the St. Helens Lions. Not much worked for the Jags, as they try to pick up on all phases of the game tonight at home.

McMinn County beat Oak Ridge. Maryville blasted Central. McCallie won again.

Here is the situation which occurred with my alma mater, St. Thomas Aquinas against Blue Valley:

Aquinas up 21-17 towards the end of the 3rd quarter, their QB rattles off 4 interceptions in his next 5 passes. Blue Valley wins 44-21.

Nothing like giving it away.

My school got up 41-0 at the half and in the 2nd half it got so bad that once it got to 59-0 they just continuously wound the clock. :shakehead: The 2nd half only took about 30 minutes to play . . . which was fine with me since I was stuck on the field working the chains.

I was just at AJC trying to find your game. Things have really gone south for my old hs team. Bradwell and Liberty county split around 1990 and all the talent was dispersed. It is amazing the effect that has on the community. I was a on a team that played Warner Robbins in 89. They throttled us. But we had beaten Valdosta the week before.

Doubt you'll find our game in the AJC. It's not GHSA, it's GISA. I can't even find a score online in the Macon paper. It wouldn't surprise me if they didn't even call in the stats. Even for this private school league that was a really bad game. The other team only dressed out about 25 guys.

Gatlinburg-Pittman beat North Green 70-12 LOL....Coach Benny Hammonds put in his 2nd string offense halfway through the 1st quarter LOL...that was just like a walk through for us tonight

Similar situation with my school's game... the coaches agreed to only have 10 minute quarters in the second half.

It was only 7-0 with 8 or so minutes left in the second quarter... then the other team rattled off 35 before the half.
