Seriously all fans have are hopes and results and if we lose tomorrow we have no hope for the future and no results to look upon favorably from the Martin tenure.

Probably need to stay away from these boards if we lose. There will be a lot of post looking for a new coach.

Cuonzo wins the lottery and I take back any negative comment I've ever said about him.

I'll also send you a check for $1,000 for all the grief I've given you this year.

No you won't, just like the multiple posters who lost the we will make the tourney bet and haven't paid a penny.

Wake up, brush my teeth, put on my Tennessee shirt, eat breakfast, skip class so I can watch the tournament, enjoy time with my family.

I know I won't be whining and crying and moaning about how awful it is to be a UT fan right now like others seem to enjoy doing.

If we lose tomorrow night, will we have really made the NCAA tournament this year? It would be an asterisk in my opinion.

No because the Tennessee/Iowa game is a play in game. If we win then we would have to play one more game than the rest of the teams in the NCAA tourney. I just do not know if we will win.

OP,

How would you feel if UT were still an 11 seed but didn't have to play tomorrow night? Would you feel any better about the situation? The bottom line is you must win this time of the year. The seedings really don't matter. You have to win to advance, no matter who you play.

If UT beats Iowa, I wouldn't be surprised if UT is favored over UMASS. The only difference is UMASS gets to wear the home unis. That's about it. They get no other advantage (if that's an advantage) for being a #6 seed.
