Serrano lands a top GA prospect

Vincent Jackson, widely considered one of the best 2012 prospects in Georgia, has committed to the Vols.

Jackson, a 6-4, 190-pound prospect from Luella HS in McDonough, Ga., projects well as a LHP and left-hand-hitting OF/1B with big power at the plate and a fastball that nears 90 MPH. He plans to pitch and play in the field at Tennessee.

Serrano will get UT back with strong pitching and this is a start. You don't send a potential future major league kid to college to play for 4 yrs and get a degree, especially a pitcher, and no parent would keep their son from playing for Serrano because he doesn't have one. You send your son to a great pitching coach that mentors your kid and has him ready to leave his jr year, when he has the most leverage with agents/teams. Srs lose leverage and money.
