Serrano's New Assistant

I know Mosiello and Serrano were close but I don't know why Mosiello would leave the MiLB job for Tennessee. Would love to see it, but would not understand it.

He's been a fairly good MiLB coach in the past as I believe he was also with the Charleston River Dogs in the past as manager. With his tumultuous background, I don't see him getting a chance as head coach anywhere.

But again. AWESOME if true.

I thought it was interesting he taught hitting and pitching. Usually pitching coaches were previous pitchers, which do no hit well.

I could mash. Until they threw me a change. Screw changeups.

So how will the duties be handled between Bergeron and Mosielo? Edit: I went back and read Bergeron will handle offensive duties. I guess Mosielo will be pitching coach.

The fact that Bill (love him or not) would resign from being a minor league manager in medias res is a microcosm of his entire career.

Would love to hire him but geez Mo., I don't know what to say. I really don't know how to feel about this. Kind of what Petrino did on a smaller scale:

Here's a story:

Former Kernels skipper Mosiello leaves Angels::Eastern Iowa Sports and Rec

Its not even as smart as what petrino did.

I guess he made the decision he wanted to be in college over professional bc his career is over in the pro ranks.

Bergeron will also work with the infielders.

Who is going to take Nate Headley's job since he was let go Wednesday? Can't say I will miss him. Nate's a prick IMO!
