On offense we must...
Start early on the Georgia Defense. We have to get some sort of rhythm early in order to be consistant offensively. Clausen must stay healthy in order to be sharp. Georgia D will play press and try to make us beat them, so we have to take advantage. These talented receivers must show why they consider themselves to be so talented. Gerald Riggs must have a good game running and with Gandy back that should help out! Biggest key... START EARLY and mix it up! Offense has to score atleast 2 times to win.

On Defense we must...
Put pressure on Shockley! Bring blitzes like we saw in the begining of the Florida game when Leak was so confused. Take advantage of the turnovers. In the florida game we had 2 interceptions in our hands and could not take advantage. Secondary must keep playing well and not slip on third and long. D-Line has to maintain its dominance in order to stop the run early which Georgia will try to run early. Defense must hold them to less than 14 points.

Special Teams we must...
Not have turnovers. We hear people say how lack-luster they are. In this game all you have to do is punt the ball well and dont turn the ball over on punt and kick returns. If we allow our offense to mount drives we will win. The big play on special teams is just an added bonus. James Wilhoit must have his A game!

I'd expect a little more out of our special teams... Maybe give Rick and the boys a short field to work with every now and then. That would be nice.

Have we had to defend an over the middle threat this season yet? I am worried about Pope. Georgia has eaten us up in the past with BIG TEs and I am worried we can't stop that. On the plus, I don't think that they have the talent at WR that they have had in the past.

I'm not worried about Chavis being ready, he has been for the past 8 years......

Sanders is a no risk play caller.....he has been for the past 7 years.....

With both of those things in mind, the largest key to the game for the Vols is special teams. Put the vols in favorable field position both on offense and defense and UT should win the game. In my opinion, we did the opposite of that against Florida resulting in a loss.

Rhythm, rhythm, rhythm! The offense has to get going early and score on its first or second possesion. Mix it up and catch the ball! The defense is solid except for the long yardage on third down. I counted five times during the ole miss game that they had third and at least seven and they made it. Same thing happened fourth quarter Florida.

If we can establish some quick rhythm on offense, prevent the long third down conversions and have a good special teams showing, we will win in fine manner.
