Unethical "journalism"?

My opinion of ESPN's journalism has diminished greatly over the years. I think they are just part of the entertainment hype machine.

Biggest case-in-point is the fiasco that was "The Decision"

I'm sorry, but that article is bunk. Who cares if they get paid by Nike? That didn't stop them from singing the praises of Under Armour's Auburn nor did it prevent them from airing out every piece of dirty laundry they could find on USC. They cover the stories and they cover the best teams. Ironically only Wisconsin and Auburn are the only non-Nike schools in the top ten though. And they hyped the crap out of the TCU-Wisconsin game, singing lots of praises for the Badgers.

I have a hard time watching any of ESPN's programming. They pay a bunch of tools to sit around and discuss stupid sports topics, and they take every statement out of context and then blow it out of proportion. The only decent work they've done lately is the 30 for 30 documentary series. Oh and to make it worse Chris Berman is still there, but i'll leave that topic alone. Glad I got that off my chest, I feel better now...
