Shaq Thompson: Paul Hornung Finalist

Just found out about this guy but man is he a freak athlete. He plays both ways for Washington and is also apparently in the Red Sox farm system(though he had a very rough one minor league season and is worth reading about linked below ).

Offense:
61 car/463 yds(2nd on team)/2 Td/7.5 ypc (best in the PAC-12)

Defense:
61 tackles/1 Sack/1 Int/3 FF/4 FR/4 defensive TDs(most in the last decade)

It is so rare for a guy to play two ways now and days and especially at a high level only one I can think of lately is Myles Jack at UCLA who was Freshman offensive and DPOY last year in the Pac-12.

Shaq Thompson is from a high school 5 miles away from my parents house in Sacramento. I also knew James Sample, the LB for Louisville. Both went to the same HS. You'd be a goober to not recruit in Sacramento.
