Sheriff Andy Taylor Screen Worn Badge

I was recently asked to repost this badge. I purchased it from the widow of Andy Griffith’s long time agent Richard O. Linke. Mr. Linke had it in his personal collection since the show wrapped in 1968. I have it screen matched to 4 episodes in season 8 including the final appearance of Barney Fife. I have spoken to the Smithsonian about possibly loaning it for display. It is without question my favorite piece of memorabilia and in my opinion it’s one of the most significant pieces of memorabilia in television history.
