Shooting in Washington D.C.

So much for the left being tolerant and the right being hatemongers.

you could probably add, so much for gun control laws preventing crazy people from doing crazy things.

of course, now the "lone gunman" story will reemerge. there's no way the shooter was influenced by the SPLC or pro-gay marriage organizations.

More violence from the teaparty probably.

I didn't see an article about the shooting on CNN or MSNBC. I guess that means they're still looking for a link.

edit: from MSNBC. http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/08/15/13298020-security-guard-shot-at-conservative-groups-dc-office?lite

An likely never will. Had this been a shooting at an abortion clinic or some liberal group's headquarters it would be front page, breaking news. Would either be a teaparty member or someone who hates Barry because he is half black.

I'm curious to hear from the gun control advocates.

The Southern Poverty Law Center classifies the Family Research Council (FRC) as a hate group because of their “propagation of known falsehoods — claims about [lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender] people that have been thoroughly discredited by scientific authorities — and repeated.”

HRC Statement on Family Research Council

The gunman is obviously a reflection of the radial progressive left and Obama's hate filled campaign as Romney just cited.

I missed the part where this was classified as "domestic terrorism." Did I miss that in the articles?

Yes, you did. In the article I've seen both the FBI and the local police say they are investigating and will interview people to find out if the crime can be classified as a hate crime or politically motivated so as to subject the suspect to additional charges.

I am sure that right now the Breitbart, the Fox, and the Drudge people are scouring the countryside for any evidence that the suspect sat down on a piece of paper that at one point was posted in the same neighborhood as a guy whose bus passed a cat belonging to a guy who once stepped on an acorn so as to attribute it to food stamp recipients.

never will be. Now it could be labeled as a 'Man-Caused disaster'

It has to at least be labeled as a "hate crime" then, right?

edit: Thanks LG. Will be on the edge of my seat to see what category of senseless violence this is labelled as.

I don't agree with FRC on anything - same for SPLC. It's funny how all the Chick-fil-A haters were calling FRC a hate org. simply because SPLC labeled them such. It's like FRC naming the ACLU a hate org.

All non-self-defense violence is pretty much senseless.

Reports are that he made some anti-FRC comments. Depends on what they are. If he said "I hate the FRC because you don't have adequate parking" that wouldn't be a hate crime, imo.
