A lot of student's are peeved that they didn't receive a aler via text or email.

I got dogged for saying that one shouldn't rely on technology. The alert is a fantastic thing to have but relying on a faulty system is just ignorant.

Lol it's ignorant to want your school to let you know 3 people just got shot right next to campus where almost only students live? Cmon bro you can't be serious. This isn't relying on technology. How would you expect them to know a man was running around with a gun otherwise, go out and see him in person?

I love how the media makes it seem like 3 random people got shot by some random guy(s) for no reason with statements like these. Random, unprovoked gun violence does happen it's just rare. Ockham's Razor tells you these fools were doing something stupid and/or criminal when these shootings happened.

The shootings that happen in that area are drug related. Most likely no one other than the victims were ever in danger.
