Should military be banned from sponsoring Nascar teams?

Utterly retarded. The military has to market and does so where it finds marketing most efficient or impactful.

I'm utterly shocked that its being sponsored by a Democrat. (sarcasm)

she voted for the HC bill so I'm not sure she's the best judge of wasteful spending

And ban all fly-by's at sporting events. JP-8, manhours, too expensive. Gov't spending is out of control.

A ban would have to include all advertising, not just NASCAR. Then the resultant shortfall of recruits should be made up from a special Minnesota draft.

How many millions of dollars goes to pensions, free healthcare for life and other perks provided by John Q. Public for every current and former senator, congressman and presidents? More than a NASCAR sponsorship.

I think the Federal Govt. should be moved to Guam. Then they would spend all their time on a oversight committee study of if, how and when the sharp increase in population causes the island to capsize. If that ever should get settled, then they go to one on should there be something done about the annual land crab migration.

I am all for banning fly-overs to sporting events played in a building with a closed roof

I wonder if she would be okay if Dale Earnhardt Jr. had the 'Universal Health Care' sponsor on his hood?

If you could pin her down, I bet you would find the only thing that would please her is no NASCAR racing.

How much is this really costing? Seems trivial.

The Army sponsorship was said to be $11.6 million in the article, the National Guard and Air Force also sponsor cars but not dollar amount was given for them.
