Like Matt Dillion in Dodge City! That would be a terrible hire ( not as bad as Peanut, but almost). He’s reached his level of incompetence. Sad that our administration even thought he was ready. Do they do coaching searches by “Pin the tail on the donkey” or Ouijai board?

Clemson’s offense has been pretty bad what I’ve seen of them so far. He may wind up being the fall guy for a subpar season. I think we are in much better shape with CJH.

If Elliott wants to be a head coach, he should have left last year. Part of the problem is that their offensive line is good but not great and the same can be said about their running backs. TL covered up some of their offensive weaknesses. The playoffs the past couple years started showing their weaknesses.

I don't think he is on hot seat. They just need players to replace the studs they lost last year. That said. He thought he was too good for us so I kind of hope he gets ran off and has to take a Sun Belt job.

Thats college football in a nutshell. If you have a good QB you have a chance. If you dont, it doesn't matter what talent you have around it.

I am glad we didn't hire him ... didn't need another coordinator getting on the job training.

Jeff Scott has been a massive failure so far at USF and Elliott is somewhat struggling. I think both benefitted from having back to back generational QB’s.
