Apparently Tony is in the hot seat as OC at Clemson. Did we dodge a bullet?

Like Matt Dillion in Dodge City! That would be a terrible hire ( not as bad as Peanut, but almost). He’s reached his level of incompetence. Sad that our administration even thought he was ready. Do they do coaching searches by “Pin the tail on the donkey” or Ouijai board?

If Elliott wants to be a head coach, he should have left last year. Part of the problem is that their offensive line is good but not great and the same can be said about their running backs. TL covered up some of their offensive weaknesses. The playoffs the past couple years started showing their weaknesses.

Its easy to look good when you have top recruits at nearly every position and play in a garbage conference.

Some of you wishy washy types on here was ready to roll the red carpet out for him. So please don't be beating your chests and boasting!

I was terrified UT was going to hire him...It doesn't take much to look good when you have a heisman contender at QB and 5 stars all over the place...Wait didn't we hire someone like that recently?...Bald guy, liked cornbread...Ehh...Nevermind, he is the name that shall not be spoken of.

Having a stud QB is a real boost to an OC resume. That's all Clemson has had. Welcome to our world, Tony.

Yes.

I am glad we didn't hire him ... didn't need another coordinator getting on the job training.
