Shout Out To JRM

He was certainly a pleasant surprise. When thinking of our LB's everyone thinks of Maggit/AJ, then JRM comes out and proves himself to be just as threatening. Awesome.

I was at the game behind the endzone, and after one play early on, I heard this lady behind me say, "Nice job, Jalen!". I was thinking, that lady really knows her football. After her cheering for him again, I asked her, and she said that JRM was her cousin. After that, I was paying attention, and sure enough his name was called several times throughout the game.

Watching JRM play special teams last year made me look forward to seeing him as a starter. Shouldn't surprise us that he is really playing well.

98, 01, 05, and 08 come to mind. This defense has that speed, talent, and discipline factor. Obviously very young though, but with so much potential.

Agree, not a huge surprise that he's playing well as a starter this year after the impact he made on ST last year.

Only a sophomore.

Not really a surprise.
The kid is a great athlete and has a knack for getting to the football. He proved that on coverage teams last year.

JRM kinda reminds me of Nick Reveiz he doesn't have the size or the "numbers" that we look at all the time with recruits but he has a lot of heart and is just a football player. I really enjoyed watching him Sunday. We have a good one with JRM!

Nice, very nice. "Bad thing" about Sunday was here was so many things to watch I just zeroed in on Sutton and the DE. :good!:

I called TSR last summer and ask about him I had high hopes for him when I saw his highlight clip from high school last year . I knew he had potential to be a special player glad he is putting in the work . AND HAS GOOD COACHES TO GUIDE HIM.also watching Cecil cherry next year this could be a good group for years to come with the likes of Dillon bates , magget ( next year ) cotton jumper, and Andrew butcher.

Looks like Bates might be our JRM from last year. Having him learn the ropes while running exclusively with special teams. Next year he may slide into a starting role just like JRM. So much to look forward to with all these freshmen and sophomores

JRM gives you the luxury of not having to play as much nickel. He was recruited as a 4-star DB. His speed was obvious on Sunday. Pursued and finished a lot of tackles.
