I want to wish you the best at New Mexico. You have rolled with the punches and held your head high throughout. Your charisma and enthusiasm is a character attribute to be proud of. I hope you completely "ball out" at New Mexico and make some national headlines.

Quit on the team. Twice. If he makes it to NFL he will not say he is from University of Tennessee during the intros. Will say somewhere else just like Cade Mays. Not VFL.

I wish him nothing but the best but if he wasn't seen on TV vs VT no on here gives a crap. For quitting on the team twice he would be roasted and written off if not for the VT game.

So in life, when you're a promising, talented, young employee and you're sold the idea that a company is going help you excel in that company but instead sticks you in the mail room, you should accept that and never strive to achieve more? I think he gave his all in the time he was here. I don't remember him ever whining and pouting like many others have. He was respected and well liked by the other players. To me that's enough to justify some "well wishes".

No way. Remember the VPI game? He’s the main one that picked up the morale on the bench and then the game turned. I don’t blame him one bit for transferring. Not even comparable to Mays.

Doubtful. Fans generally wish former Vols the best after they transfer so long as they weren't a cancer to the team.

That's not quitting. Quitting is what Jalen Hurd did. S. Jones made a move that didn't cause any distress to the team and was in his best interest.

What was it coach Neidermeyer said? ‘You’re either with us or against us.’ Jones isn’t with us.

Because he wanted to have a chance to play at lesser program? GTFO. Nothing wrong with what he did. Same for Eason when he transfers from UGA.

He gave more blood and sweat to the Vols than probably anyone in this thread, so I don’t know how any fan decides that he’s not Vol enough...just saying
