I had the exact same injury. After the surgery and cast removal, I self-rehabbed due to my economic circumstances. Thankfully, I’m sure Bru will have access to better rehab. I was back on the rugby pitch within three months and had a successful career for another 22 years with no detrimental affects, including speed, from the injury. This is a small setback, and Bru’s future still looks very bright. God speed on his recovery, and I’m thankful he is a VFL.Bru/VFL - if you or any of your family members are reading VN, we love you man and hope to see you on our sidelines again next Fall or, on an NFL team!
I think his injury looked (and probably felt) worse than it actually is, from a recovery standpoint.I had the exact same injury. Wtf are you talking about? I said his injury looked worse than it probably is from a recovery standpoint. Some people said career-ending, others said over a year recovery. . . so if it only takes 3-6 months, that would be better than what people thought when they first saw it, wouldnt it? A few months, like you said, would be better than first reactions, wouldn't it?I’m speaking from experience. You’re speculating.
You’re right. I misread the intent of your post. My bad.Wtf are you talking about? I said his injury looked worse than it probably is from a recovery standpoint.
