it's clear that the people of his western NC district are nothing but a bunch of racist teabaggers.

i'd rather b a teabagger, instead of being teabagged....i hear Anderson Cooper disagrees

I just loved all the responses after Cooper made that comment....so Anderson, how is it you know so much about this term very few average people have ever even heard of? And then it was silent. His comments were few and far between after that.

Just teabaggers in a teacup, who cares what a few mongrel hillbillies who cling to their religion and their guns think???

We all know that Ivy League elites and their sycophant puppets run this country.

The very idea.

Here is another democrat that might have to bite the bullet for the party's agenda.

US Rep Stephen Lynch now supports full homosexual agenda, brags gay newspaper

While we're at it, Cooper in Tennessee district 5 is facing strong opposition.

Considering Shuler supported Van Hillary in 02, I've always been a bit confused/perplexed as to why he ran as a Democrat.

Absolutely incredible.

You managed to turn a thread about Shuler facing opposition in Congress into something on Muslims.

Bravo, sir. Bravo.

There are consultants telling him to switch parties if he wishes to stay in office. Some in the campaign family are pushing him to do so.

Speaking of teabagging no one's making a deal on Palin saying Obama lacks that ability specifically regarding the immigration issue....

I knew you would appreciate that.

Do I need to do a curtain call??

Should I surmise you have no problem with the anti-homosexual agenda or should I surmise what I wish?

FWIW, I do hope Cooper loses his seat in congress.

I think a lot of those "blue dogs" that Emanuel put up in 2006 are in trouble. Every R running against them needs to link them with Barry and Pelosi.

And I think that is exactly what is happening, for some god only knows reason, the blue dogs sided with the democratic leadership and it's biting them in the butt big time. This is just the primary and every Republican's weapon of choice right now is "voted with Pelosi, Reid, and Obama," here in Tennessee.

As I have stated before, I don't believe there is such thing as a blue dog. The reason I say this, the dems have not blocked anything Barry has wanted to pass. They have all went right along with his far left agenda. Pelosi will let some of the "blue dogs" vote no for political cover, but if she had to have their vote, she would get it.

I would link every dem candidate to those 3 every chance I had if I were running for office.

I dunno, while I don't really agree with them overall still, but when I moved down here the Democrats down here at least have some common sense about them (Unlike their counterparts to the North). I've married into a family of very staunch Democrats and it makes me scratch my head at times. Their main problem is they truly believe the economy comes from the bottom. The problem is once they get to DC they have to play by the National Party's rules and that's where the troubles begin. Now, the catch is that when these "blue dogs" were elected they kind of ran on the fact that they weren't really going to toe the party line. Their biggest problem is: well... they did.

And for the record on linking them to the Triple Threat: I would too, in a heart beat. Right now those three are toxic to most Americans out there.

Simply ask a blue dog who they will vote for Speaker. If the answer is Pelosi, how can they call themselves a blue dog? In the end, a few token 'conservative' votes does not make up for having that woman as speaker.

because at the time they were winning. Just ride the coattails to a seat

I know Heath and his family. His positions are very conservative on most issues but his family is overwhelmingly old south Democrats. I once heard a likeminded in law of mine say seriously that he hoped God would forgive anyone who voted for a Republican. It would have been very difficult for him to have run as a Republican.

They're part of the last hold outs still voting the Civil War.

The Dem brand hurts Heath but many people who care about him won't vote for him next time because he supported Pelosi for Speaker. Liberal leadership in the House insures that the issues Heath says he cares about will never see the light of day.

Agree. I'm going back for a visit soon and will see what the commercials are like... but if I were running against Heath I would have one basic them. "A vote for Shuler equals a vote for Pelosi".

That would be a great strategy. Most of these "blue dogs" ran to the right of the Republican candidate and then like Shuler they voted for Pelosi for Speaker. Pelosi's values or lack there of do not represent 98% of the country's.
