Thanks. . . . good article, really. I think Mandel gave us a peek into the immature psyche of young athletes. Also, he made good reference to the type of team that seems to prosper at Tennessee as of late, as well as the one that "flopped." It seems to me that whenever a team starts listening to the hype, it becomes a victim of the hype.

Maybe we should ALL step back and realize that we are currently a ZERO win team. We'll also be the target circled on quite a few calendars come September. Time to grow up, step up, and work -- otherwise we're in for a REAL disappointment.

AMEN!!! I couldn't agree more, the good thing is that our chemistry seems to be better this time around, guess there is no horse to feed!!

I work with a die hard Georgia fan - he agree's with the statement that Mandel makes - Hype=Failure at UT.

I really believe this team can get it done. I think the impressive win in the Cotton Bowl was a big moral booster. I see at least an 11 win season, not sure on a NC.

Great article Volracerx :good: ?Yeah, this hype will draw some attention from some media outlets. We all remeber how much hype Auburn got before the 2003 season and what happened to them early on. I just hope that we can get it done during the season.
