I would love for us to get another crack at Notre Dame. They embarrassed us in 2004 and 2005.

I wouldn't mind another shot at Clemson (and the accompanying Bowden) after that Peach Bowl debacle of a few years ago either.

I still see that Godawful purple and orange in my nightmares. They looked like a bunch of color blind pimps.

That made for a long drive home.

* These picks are assuming Michigan gets their star WR healthy soon.

National Title: Michigan vs. West Virgina (Michigan)
Rose: Ohio State vs. USC (Ohio State)
Fiesta: Florida vs. Texas (Texas)
Orange: Clemson vs. Louisville (Clemson)
Sugar: Notre Dame vs. Tennessee (Tennessee)

I hate putting West Virginia in the NC game but the cupcake schedule is going to get them there. Florida will lose. Ohio State will lose to Michigan, if Michigan is healthy. USC will lose to Cal.

Hmm...payback for 2004 against ND for hurting our qb and winning a game UT should have won.

or

payback for 2003 Peach Bowl against an inferior team that we should have won (thanks James Banks).

I think I would enjoy beating ND more, though playing Clemson would make for cheaper tickets.

If we do end up playing Notre Dame can you imagine the scoring outburst? The scoreboard will be lit up.

How do you have Florida in the BCS but not in the NCG or Sugar? Unless we end up winning a 3-way tiebreaker, I think it is unlikely that UF is in the BCS without winning the conference, and if I understand the system, the conference winner, if not in the National Championship, would go to New Orleans.

No, actually they put up 19 points on us without the 14 points generated from special teams. Math lesson: 33-14= 19. You're welcome.

20 was right... they went for two after the kickoff return for a touchdown and failed to convert.

Plus they didn't have Joe T during the 3 games prior to UT game. Remember he was out with a ankle injury. The freshman QBs at UGA might be great one day but not this year.

I would like to see Tennessee play/spank USC or the beloved Notre Dame. I must be the only one that thinks Clemson isn't going to win the ACC. I see Georgia Tech winning out and also beating UGA.

OK FIRST WE HAVE TO WIN OUT......but say we do i would love nothing more then a shot at either MICHIGAN or USC

Since Tennessee destroyed Michigan in the 2002 Citrus Bowl 45-17. I would rather beat someone Tennessee doesn't own. But everyone is entitled to their oppinion.

You need to remind him of our last 3 games against the Big 10(11).

Tennessee > Michigan 45-17 2002
Tennessee > Northwesterm 48-28 1997
Tennessee > Ohio State 1996

We'd have the same result this year.

These predictions are a bunch of smoke and mirrors. I don't think that ND will be there at all (I think they lose twice in the state of California before the season is over), either WVA or Louisville will go due to strangely irrelevant opposition through the season, and I still consider Florida / Auburn basically a toss - up that obviously has BCS impact. And oh yes... I am not looking forward to our visit to Arkansas at all.

There's just too much football to be played yet. But I'd put this team on the field with any of them right now anyway.

That would be the result of Florida either a.) winning out but then losing in the SECCG or b.) Florida losing to 1 game to Auburn or Georgia and then winning the SECCG. Just winning the SECCG will not put them in the NC game if they have a loss.

I think it would be hilarious if we met Cal in the bowl game. If anything just to reiterate the point. They are definately stepping back up the rankings and if they beat USC. Well they might even jump us.

How are they going to lose twice in the state of Cal. when they only travel there once?
