Don't have to pay kids to go there.
Perhaps you're unaware that a lot of these players get thousands of dollars a month in grant money.
No student gets "thousands of dollars a month". The most anyone can get in a year from a Pell Grant is about $5600. I mentor students and help them file FASFA and that's the limit.
This is a lie tossed out by bammers when Trent Richardson was openly driving a $24K SUV while his baby mama and mama "house set" for a series of prominent b'ham bammer alumni. Everyone in the dam state knows this.
I meant per year,my mistake. You believe the TR stuff because you want to believe it,otherwise, you wouldn't have a coping mechanism.Stuff like that is easily uncovered if it is true.
This.
Hell, especially considering Miami's "punishment" for all the crap they did, the NCAA might even GIVE us a few extra scholarships for this.
LOL! There were pictures all over the interwebz. And a bammer alum told me about the housesitting stuff. He thought I already knew, apparently.

I'm not saying he wasn't driving a nice vehicle,a lot of college players do.That's what a lot of them use grant money for. That was the OP.You just believe Bama paid him because you want to believe it.Same for the other stuff, easily proven if true.Everyone is tempted to believe something they want to be true, those who can resist that temptation is what seperates the prudent from the rest.
Righhhhttt. And you just don't want to believe obvious evidence of cheating because you are a bammer. LOL! What is more likely...that I am misled about the cheating or that you are denying it.
You are completely in denial and the above statement is actually about you, you just don't realize it. It's called "projecting". Look it up.![]()
Hmmm, it's better than I recall. His Yukon was worth $40K, and he was pulled over for speeding! Thus there is a POLICE REPORT.
Trent Richardson's 2011 Yukon With Nice Rims -- Nothing To See Here : Outkick The Coverage
A lot more stuff here:
SPORTSbyBROOKS
Including ties to Al Betar, more than one vehicle Richardson was seen driving, references to a house he was living in, etc, ad naseum.
It's not that I started out believing bammer was cheating, it's just the evidence is so incredibly obvious. A man would have to cover his eyes and ears NOT to see it.![]()

I am making this comparison for one reason. These are the most successful coaches of the last decade. Urban and Carroll both won two NCs, Saban won 3 at bammer and one at LSU in this stretch.
Also, both USC and Florida are well known to have two of the greatest natural recruiting advantages in the country. Bammer is not bad, but lets face it, Florida and California have far more talent. And SC doesn't have to compete much with other in-state schools (they generally blow UCLA away in recruiting). So since they won the NCs, that helps recruiting, right? And the two are certainly correlated...hard to win an NC without good recruiting, right?
Biggest natural recruiting advantage....USC...second...Florida...third....bammer.
Now let's compare the personalities of the coaches. Pete Carroll is known as a "player's coach", very friendly, very personable. I have a friend in LA who has met him. Says he is really down to Earth. Urban...kind of a dbag, but at least seems kind of charming sometimes. Saban...COMPLETE D---HEAD! Once fired a staffer for commenting on his haircut. Regularly verbally abuses reporters. Kicks injured kids off the bammer squad. Etc.
So let's think about this...the three most successful coaches in the last ten years. By recruiting advantage and personality, they would seem to rate this way:
1. Carroll
2. Urban
3. Saban
Somehow though, Saban is at the top, and decisively so. Okay, well, Urban is way behind the other two, but Carroll actually was kind of close to Saban. Hmmmm....
OH YEAH! Didn't he get caught cheating?
But somehow, in spite of Carroll being far nicer than Saban, in SOUTHERN CAL, next door to Hollywood and the beaches, in the BEST STATE FOR RECRUITING IN THE COUNTRY, with rappers and celebs often on the sideline, LOSES to Saban in recruiting? Saban, the biggest d___ on the planet, who is trying to get kids to go to that s___hole Tuscaloosa stuck in the middle of perhaps the least popular, most mocked state in the country? And oh yeah...CARROLL GOT CAUGHT CHEATING!!!! But Saban somehow wins against Carroll?
LOL! Yeah...kids just wanna go there. GMAFB!!!
I'm just sitting here laughing at people who say that.lol:

Sounds like Tennessee fans trying to explain Tee Martin 15 years ago. You're better off just changing the subject. So,because someone is driving a nice vehicle he must be corrupt even though no one with authority has investigated him or accused him.You probably did start out believing Bama was cheating,or at least wanting to believe it desperately and searched until you found an internet story that you could use to proclaim their guilt. Some people actually wait until an authority investigates and announces their findings before stating they are guilty.I guess you don't subscribe to that.

Look at Sabans recruiting classes. Pretty good right? Players want to come here? I think you just answered your own question. Obviously players do want to come here as evidenced by the number one recruiting classes. Nobody is forcing them to come. The very best want to come compete at the highest level, have a chance to play for championships, receive the best coaching and be prepped for the next level. Nicer than Saban? After pee wee, it's not about participation ribbons and pats on the head.
Every time the one of your ex players admits to being paid, some of you guys act like a bunch of 5 year olds, pointing to Alabama. You guys have waaay too many skeletons for that. As long as you compare yourselves to Alabama, you will continue with this inferiority complex. Tuscaloosa is a ____hole? Tennessees' campus was just voted among the ugliest. C'mon man!
