Not a shocker to me. After what Miami didn't get in trouble for, I doubt this makes a blip in the NCAA's radar. NCAA is a joke.

yeah the whole Miami situation was a bit ridiculous... ...and by a bit ridiculous, i mean Miami deserved to get penalized almost as badly as Penn State.

Been going on for a 100 years why don't people shut the ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff up and we all throw a little in the pot to help the kids out when they get in school, not saying throw 100,000 grand at them, just enough to get by.

I'm not denying anything.If the NCAA or a similar entity say TR is paid by Bama I will freely admit it is true.There is no evidence TR was paid by Bama.Since it is so obvious I guess you also have to believe the NCAA is also corrupt and won't investigate something so obvious.The bottom line is that neither you nor I know TR or anything other than what someone put on the internet or some fan rumor.The difference between us is that if everything were the same except TR had played for Tn,I would still say the same thing while your stance would be the opposite.You just hate Bama and want to believe it so much you accept whatever rumor or internet story comes along.

Beyond that, it's actually really hard for the NCAA to prove anything unless someone squeals. The reason Carroll got busted is because Reggie Bush's agent got pissed. No one has squealed on Trent yet. In fact, the NCAA was so eager to bust Miami that they overstepped their bounds and had to back off...in spite of the cheating Miami was doing ALSO being obvious. In the case of Penn State they depended on the federal investigation. In the case of OSU a disgruntled owner of a tattoo parlor squealed, etc.

So what I have always said is "IF" the NCAA ever finally busts them.

I am confident that bammer is cheating it's arse off.

No, I always suspect bammer of cheating, because they always do. Bear was a terrible cheater.

I just didn't think it was SO OBVIOUS until I checked the recruiting rankings.

They remind me of Lance Armstrong winning 6 Tour de France races after beating testicular cancer....and still denying that he was doping.

That's how good bammer recruiting is....way, way too good to be true.

Honestly I've gotta give credit to Dooley here. He did the right thing

I've heard many good stories about Dooley. It's easy to bash him. He kept us clean, no doubt about it. We were driving a couple busses full of middle school aged football players and decided to give em a tour around Neyland. As luck would have it, Dooley came out and gave us all the grand tour....let us see the locker room, watch practice and meet the team. He was a total class act.
