— Cuonzo Martin did a good job challenging his team with this schedule, but too often his Volunteers did not rise up to meet it. Their best nonconference wins came over Xavier at the Battle 4 Atlantis and against Virginia at home. The fact that they started SEC play with a road win at LSU is a good sign.

Who gives a flip about the article... nothing has changed the fact that our team plays inconsistent game to game with little fire or passion. Our coach has everything to do with this. Who knows, maybe we "show up" a few more than we don't and squeak on the bubble when its all said and done.... either way it is clear that another coach could probably raise the game on most of these kids and we would be looking at several more W's than L's at this point in the season.
