If he continues to play like he has, no way Philly lets him go without a great contract imo.

Right. Hes going to have a leg up on Philly as far as demands. If they go deep into the playoffs with him he will be able to name almost any price he wants.

so you expect some team, Philly or otherwise, to try and ride Vick's passing to playoff Ws? Interesting.

So people shouldnt be given second chances? Im as big of a dog lover as the next person and what he did was horrible, but he has served his time right? Its easy for me to say that as an Eagles fan of course, but I would think the same thing if he was playing for the skins or boys.

I just don't like the guy for what he did. It's a personal preference.

If we're going to debate the second chance thing, sure he served his time and sure he deserves to make a living. I just think it shouldn't be playing football and making millions of dollars. I kind of feel like he burnt that bridge and should be working a crappy factory job or something. Not being cheered on by little kids.

Again, it's just a personal preference and opinion. We've argued over this before. I'm not telling people to hate him or dislike him because I do. I'm just saying that I don't like him. I won't try to change your opinion if you won't try to change mine. :p

count me in!

Oh, how easily people forget...

Forget that he won in Atlanta with a rookie coach and a team who's first and second options were Alge Crumpler and Brian Finneran?

Mark me down as one of those who's rooting for the guy, never thought he should've went to prison in the first place(I care little for domestic animals), and is glad he's doing as well as he is. He's always had gaudy talent, but now he has the dedication, mindset, team, and coaching staff to put it all together.

Oh yea, and if he stays healthy, dude's getting paid.

What?? It wasn't just because he fought and killed dogs for fun. He was funding an entire illegal gambling operation. He also lied to the judge and I'm guessing they could have hit him with tax fraud as well if they wanted to. You're weird if you don't think he deserved time behind bars. Lots of people go to jail for far less. He gets 23 months for that and Plaxico gets 24 months because he put a bullet in his own leg. It could have been worse for Vick. In fact it would have been had he not snitched and accepted a plea bargain.

Couldnt disagree more with you

And that's your opinion. In my own, no man should have to sit in an actual prison cell for 2 years because he abused any dog, let alone a breed that those who profess hate for him most(suburbia), don't and never wanted around in the first place(Pit Bulls). Secondly, they're dogs, I couldn't care less.

Its not my opinion, its the law

Wow... you sound like a quality human being.

And your claims about pit bulls aren't fact either. That's just an opinion and a false one at that. Pit bulls are beyond loving animals. They're only vicious if you raise them to be. I'm pretty sure beating them, starving them and making them drink other dog blood will make any animal vicious.

So? No only am I not offended by dog fighting, I sure as hell aren't bothered by somebody running "an illegal gambling operation".

He also lied to the judge and I'm guessing they could have hit him with tax fraud as well if they wanted to.

I'd lie in hopes of avoiding prison time as well, but ok Uncle Sam.

Hey, I'm a product of my environment. I could just be weird though. Who know's?

Plax shouldn't have gone to prison neither.

And who'd Vick snitch on?

Tons of communities, especially suburban ones, have laws against owning Pit Bulls. That's a fact.

People who torture animals for fun are sociopaths.

If you can just flat out not care about innocent life being tortured, what do you care about exactly? It's called compassion. The world would be a better place if there was more of it. At least you'll have your monies someday. Aka little pieces of paper.

Honestly, it sounds like wild animals are more compassionate than you. They only kill for food and if they feel threatened. I've seen a number of videos of animals saving one another. Here is an example and it's not even the same species... YouTube - HIPPO TRYING TO HELP DEER TO ALIVE

I'd lie in hopes of avoiding prison time as well, but ok Uncle Sam.

He got caught.

Hey, I'm a product of my environment. I could just be weird though. Who know's?

Didn't you say you were going to be lawyer at Oregon or something?

Regardless, that's a cop-out. Plenty of people come from wealthy families, great backgrounds and end up useless drug addicts. Plenty of people come from poor families, abusive backgrounds and make something of themselves.

Plax shouldn't have gone to prison neither.

Sound logic.

And who'd Vick snitch on?

Other people involved with the operation

Anyways... I'm not going to argue about this anymore. It's pointless and you're not the type of person I want to associate with, even through a computer. There is something wrong with you in my opinion. You sound about as heartless and cruel as a human being can be. On the bright side, I dislike Michael Vick less now. At least he goes around telling people not to fight dogs anymore. Take care Bumi.

Maybe. I'm still no more offended by dog fighting than I am the mass slaughter of cattle for my, and others convenience.

If you can just flat out not care about innocent life being tortured, what do you care about exactly? It's called compassion. The world would be a better place if there was more of it. At least you'll have your monies someday. Aka little pieces of paper.

What do I care about? I care about the mass number of abortions in American society. I care about the child soldiers in Africa and South America, about the acts of genocide in Darfur, and about the famine in Haiti. I care about education, or lack there of in the inner cities of America. Those are the types of things I care about. Dog fighting hardly registers in my mind.

Honestly, it sounds like wild animals are more compassionate than you. They only kill for food and if they feel threatened. I've seen a number of videos of animals saving one another. Here is an example and it's not even the same species...YouTube - HIPPO TRYING TO HELP DEER TO ALIVE

The above doesn't even deserve a response. It's joke.

YouTube - Lioness Killing Male Cheetah

YouTube - Awesome Footage of Lion Attacking Hyenas!

Yay for obscure wild life videos that prove nothing! Well, nothing besides the fact that Fido would have to fight for survival if he weren't domesticated.

He got caught.

How does that conflict with my statement?

Didn't you say you were going to be lawyer at Oregon or something?

Law? Hell no. Sports Marketing. But what's that have to do with the environment in which I was raised in?

Regardless, that's a cop-out. Plenty of people come from wealthy families, great backgrounds and end up useless drug addicts. Plenty of people come from poor families, abusive backgrounds and make something of themselves.

Cop out? So you're saying your opinion isn't skewed by the environment and community in which you're raised? If so, that's ludicrous.

Sound logic.

Indeed.

Other people involved with the operation

You don't know what you're talking about.

Anyways... I'm not going to argue about this anymore. It's pointless and you're not the type of person I want to associate with, even through a computer. Judgmental and self righteous? Impressive.

If you have ever been around an abused animal, you might feel differently.

I think it's safe to say you aren't much of an "animal lover" to begin with.
