A lot of people have been wondering why we decided to go after several kids with weak academics who are expected to be sign and place guys. Knowing that those kids will probably get re-recruited it seems like our staff recognizes that they aren't going to be able to sway a lot of recruits in the last few weeks and they are building relationships to hopefully sway some of these guys next year when they go back up for re-recruitment. There will definitely be a lot of guys coming out of JUCO or Prep school next year who have a relationship with our staff and will have had a year to see what they can do. We might end up with a few of these guys that we miss out on this year. Just a thought......

No, every minute it's looking to live up to realistic expectations and not the extremely lofty expecctations that Kiffin's staff created by being so successful in getting in on kids last minute. We will still land a few more guys and finish in the Top 15 which is great. We also have one of the highest stars per player average which shows that our recruits should be quality.
