If you took the best players from the SEC at every position and gave them a 6 months to practice. Could it beat the worst nfl team if it were played in a sec stadium with lots of sec fans and got 3 games in which to get a w.

Do you mean the Titans or the Raiders?

yea they might have a chance against the raiders this year. depending on who coaches. i would have to say i'd want cutcliffe as the OC, bo pelini(from lsu) as the DC, but i dont know who i'd want for HC. not fulmer, meyer, shula, orgeron, croom, miles, or kentucky's coach. and not spurrier he sucked in the nfl. that leaves richt, nutt, the vandy coach, and tuberville. i'd go with vandy's coach sorry i dont know his name, but he seems to get the best out of what he has to work with. i think that is as arguable as whether or not we would win 1 of 3.

His name is Bobby Johnson. He is a class act. He previously coached at Furman here in Greenville, SC . Too bad Vandy is destined to be in the basement of the SEC east pretty much every year.

actually...i think maybe they could beat the raiders. I mean, this hypothetical team that you are proposing would be comprised of all nfl caliber players. the only difference between them and a pro team is experience.

Nope. The offensive and defensive lines would chew them up and spit them out. Who in the heck would cover Randy Moss?

If I was the coach, I'd instruct the cornerback on Moss' side to just flip a dime bag in the air when the ball is snapped and then drop into a zone.

You can take a player out of West Virginia, but you can't take the West Virginia out of the player.
