Silly Season appears in full swing right now. Drivers, sponsors, numbers.... everything is up in the air.

*It appears J.J. Yeley is the top candidate for the 21 Wood Brothers ride.

*Regan Smith seems to be the top candidate to drive the 01 DEI car. Almirola and Mark Martin will split time in the #8 sponsored by the U.S. Army. No clue about the sponsor for the 01 car. If they opt to not go with Smith, Greg Biffle could be the man, but it seems as if Biffle wants to stay at Roush.

*David Reutimann could be the next driver at Robert Yates Racing. If Michael Waltrip Racing cuts back to 2 teams like expected, Reutimann will be the odd man out and could end up in the 88 car replacing Ricky Rudd, who is retiring for good at year end.

I know Yeley may end up in the 21, but what ever happened to the plans that Jon Wood was going to drive it? I know Jon was going through some struggles, but I thought he was back to racing. Also, if they can't get in the top 35 then I bet Bill will be driving some of those races next season until they're in the 35. But Yeley probably will be the person that ends up in it.

Waltrip should drop Jarrett before he drops Reutimann... I understand Jarrett gets the provisionals but at least Reuti is young and has room for improvement.... DJ needs to stay in the announcers booth
