Here's a look at Dani Klupenger's senior spotlight on All-America candidate Meighan Simmons, who's averaging 16+ points per game for the second year in a row.
I think her passion for the game will be missed. I think she provides qualities beyond the stat sheet that every team needs to be successful. With that said, she hasn't necessarily been the most efficient player, and it seems players like Carter, Reynolds and maybe some of the incoming freshman might be able to step in and be more efficient actually, as far as stats go. I just hope someone steps up to lead the team emotionally next year to fill the void that Simmons will leave behind.
Imagine what she would have if she hadn't been benched every time she missed a two shots. Check out the stars. She started one game and was pulled after 21 sec and 1 missed shot.
I think her career is 42%, which I think is pretty good considering all the shots she has taken. You probably knew that and set the bar a few higher. It's all good though.
