he's going a decent job for ShoBox.

He has to carry Antonio Tarver's dumb ass, so the overall booth sucks.

Give me Lampley and drunk Larry Merchant, but Gus is ok.

Antonio Tarver is my hero. He exposed Roy Jones for the fraud that he was.

Don't hate on Tarver.

Tarver was awful saturday night, he had a moment pre-fight where he just totally lost himself on the teleprompter and it took a good 8 seconds for him to recover

Its not his cup of tea, for sure. I'd like for Hatton to get more work, he's genuinely enjoyable.

Boxing is a dead sport anyway.

Boxing is struggling due to having not having a quality group of heavyweights. I still very much enjoy the sport.

He beat a past his prime Jones. Jones Jr. is one of the greatest pound for pound fighters ever and should've never fought past super-middleweight. Old age and weight gain took away his quicks and exposed him. Jones is a much better analyst as well.

I'd like to see Teddy Atlas and Gus one day. Just for the hell of it.

I agree somewhat. Boxing is struggling because of mma. Kids today dont watch boxing they watch mma. In 15 years there wont be quality in any weight class because of this very reason...at least in our country.

I agree jp. mma is having a major impact on boxing. The young folks are very excited about this so-called sport. I still think boxing could make a come-back with glamor fighters in the heavy weight division and some more glamor fights in the other weight classes. For example, if Mayweather wasn't afraid to fight the current best fighter in boxing, it would be a major event.

So called sport? If boxing is a sport, then MMA surely is.

I still like watching a good boxing match, but this is because I watched them as a kid with my dad. When Manny leaves big name boxing is done IMO.

MMA has put a dent in boxing not only because it is another exciting combat sport that creates matchups people want to see, but because boxing has crapped in its own bed over the years. I grew up with & still love boxing but am more likely to pay for an MMA card now. More fights if the main card is dull is a big draw. There is room for both but you're right most kids these days are growing up with MMA & following it more closely.

Yeah. It sucks too but I like both. Just not enough big names anymore in boxing. Mayweather / Pacman would gross more than any single MMA event ever if that ever went down. They know that so its dumb not to do it. Both fighters would be set just off of that fight alone.

They're already set. I doubt we'll see PBF in the ring ever again.
