How does the game play out on Saturday? I've got a feeling it's going to be a very very ugle game.

And I think the game is actually a toss up considering UK may actually be worse on the road than UT is at home

I think if Tennessee can't get pumped up for this game, then we have no business playing in the tourney. I like Tennessee over UK, but I also liked Tennessee over MSU.

Pearl always gets the team prepped for these types of games. It's his type of situation to be in. We'll usually compete in the big games. I fully expect us to pull out a win against UK to end off the season and build a little momentum for the tournament.

Kentucky has been beaten by couple of buzzer beaters on road - not as bad, or as sporadic as their record indicates.

Conversely, Tennessee has no heart, leadership, adequate decision-making skills, third scoring threat, consistent play (except consistently inconsistent....if you count that), a demoralized team, a distracted coaching staff, infighting, name-calling, defensive lapses, refusal / inability to run offensive sets, etc.

They may pull one out at SC, but I see no reason to believe that Tennessee beats Kentucky ay home....without requiring equal parts hope and wishful thinking. JMO, IMHO.

KY by 8, minimum.

While I mostly agree with your post, you've got a typical Vol fan's way of looking at it. You completely ignore the fact that other than that early stretch of OOC losses, nearly all of the Vols' losses were buzzer beater type situations, by 1 or 2 points.

I still think we probably don't beat Kentucky, but I haven't ruled it out.

Umm, what? Prepped for these games? Pearl has pretty much sucked against UK and his teams look unprepared more times than not.
