I don't know when our coaches are going to learn that you really need a lead blocker to run well in this league. Georgia has the guy that will probably win the Heisman in their backfield and they still line him up behind a fullback half the time.

The lead blocker and fullback position is hard to find on any team in this league.

My problem was not so much not having or using fullback, but that when Georgia started blitzing, we should have used more screen plays to slow them down imo.

What has it gotten Georgia since Gurley has been there? They haven't even been able to win the East, much less the SECC. And they got taken to the edge of disaster today by a team that started 6 freshmen on offense and 5 on defense.

I liked the split backfield we started out running. I'm not exactly sure why we made adjustments on offense after the first 2 scoring drives. It's like we were afraid to be too successful. I'm a believer in running the same plays until they stop you. It seems like coach B only wants to run the plays they stop most of the time. Why does he abandon the plays, and formations we run successfully?

Clearly the reason for UGA not winning the East or a conference title is their running game since Gurley has arrived.

And Gurley had the best rushing performance if his career today. Georgia's running game is outstanding. It's the passing game and defense that is not up to par.

UGA won the East in 2012, and was 4 yards from playing for the NC.
