Single season receiving yards record

I haven't seen any posts. What I believe:

- Meachem owned record with 1265 yards in 2006
- Im seeing Hyatt with 1267 yards this year

WHY ARENT WE CELEBRATING HYATTS WELL DESERVED SINGLE SEASON YARDAGE RECORD?

I think he needed 118 yards Saturday.

Junior wideout Jalin Hyatt pulled in three catches for a game-high 86 yards, improving his season total to 1,267 which stands 31 shy of the program record set by Marcus Nash in 1997.

You are correct sir. I'm still pissed Heup didn't give him the opportunity in regular season.

Hyatt will need to grow another 4 to 6 ft taller to catch overthrow joes passes and then he can break the record. Until then……heads or tails.

Don't blame coach for that, there were attempts to get him the ball, the throws were off. I guess they could have kept trying instead of finally putting in subs and running more, but IDK. I think there were plenty of chances.

Unfortunately for Hyatt, the running backs stole the show. Still go to a CFP (arranged) bowl game against a team UT will whoop.

It's actually quite sad.

Hyatt could have easily had 150 yards and 2 TDs against Vandy but we don't have a QB.

Good point. I’m glad he saved the drops for that game though. He was due a couple of human moments, glad they weren’t during the big games.
