There are few reasons why he should better this year...

1. His ankle is better and won't slow him down enough.

2. With Ainge taking most of the snaps, their timing should be a lot better.

3. Cutcliffe working with Ainge and improving his game.

4. Trooper working with the receivers.

5. Meachem is in better shape than he was last year.

Did I miss anything?

one would think so...and i still believe had our receivers caught some of the balls that were just plain drops last year, our qb's wouldn't have come under such criticism. Yeah, they played bad, no arguement there, but the bad play was exasperated by so many really bad drops by the receivers...which makes the qb look bad. And vice versa, the receivers can make an average qb look great....ala danny weurfel.

you're exactly right. now with only one quarterback. meachem can grow accustomed to ainge's style and have alot more connections.
