Vandy has been struggling with the concept of football since they decided to field a team.. Announced attendance was 31K, more like 18K will free ticket given to students at Lipscomb and Trevecca

I would love to enjoy this article, but it's BR. We can't pick and choose as to whether they know what they're talking about or not. Don't get me wrong, I would love it if Florida went into a death spiral, but I'm not convinced they're done. On the other hand, Vandy's recent football success was like Haley's Comet, we won't be able to witness again for 100 years.

Anybody thinking we might have dodged a bullet not getting Peterson? Great innovative tactician but the promotion of the program duties and RECRUITING are lacking.

I think they'll be somewhere around the 10-15 mark. They'll rebound nicely this year based on talent alone unless they have freak accidents everywhere again.

I think Petersen will be one of the more interesting non-UT narratives to play out the next couple years. UW is historically pretty good and he will have more resources at his disposal than at Boise. Does he continue having success or does he join Dan Hawkins, Dirk Koetter, et al, and fade into obscurity.

Sad when your only dig that you can give is to Vandy. There was a time when Vandy did not even warrant a mention. Goes to show how far we've sunk in 5 years of subpar football in Knoxville. Bama, UGA, UF don't even consider us a "rival" anymore....

It most certainly would be nice to see the Karma Bus drive on in to Florida and wreck them this year and another bust HC hire....make them the 3rd best team in Florida behind Miami and FSU.

That Karma Bus driver is a damn mad man too....

Then why are there so many Florida and Georgia fans on this site? That is dumb...take away the Dooley years and we are 4-3 vs Georgia since 2004 and last years game went to OT. Get lost dude.

Freeze had such an unbelieveable year, it was almost impossible to think there was not some dirty business going on two years ago. Now, it seems like same ole' miss.

I don't think he was ever interested in coming to UT. So technically there never was a bullet.
