He really is a big liability on the floor defensively right now. Love his offensive game, even though I would have loved to see a dish or two down the stretch last night instead of shooting with a guy in his face on those last two shots.
Name me 1 player who isnt a big liability on def. I think Fields and Bone is the best def. player we have right now.The bottom line this team is pathetic and our only bright spot is Harris.
You forgot the fact that he can rebound too. He's putting up double doubles. Whatever his short comings are, I'll gladly bare them in exchange for his teammates having better decision making abilities.
We'd be undefeated if his teammates didn't turn the ballover and throw up 3s four feet beyond the arc with a hand in their face and 20 seconds left on the shot clock. Sure I want a "do-everything Lebron James" on my team, but let's face it, Tobias Harris is not the problem. His teammates are.
Excellent point, and neither of them should have been on the floor. TJ made some very good moves last night even though we lost the game. Moves that BP would not have made. I might have had Fields in on the play you're speaking of instead of Williams (only because he's more athletic) but otherwise TJ had the right players on the floor when we absolutely had to have a stop. You can judge a lot of what the coaches think about certain players defensive ability by one play last night....After a time-out, biggest defensive possession of the game, about a minute left in regulation when we needed a stop and Hopson and Tobias are not on the floor....
Really? Even when his shortcomings lead to players on the other team having good statistics.
The kid is a good player, and will have the opportunity to be great, but he has to make that step.
And step number one should be learning how to play defensive basketball.

well when is BW going to learn how to play def. he has been here for 4 years and is 6`10 and cant jump 5 inches off the floor.I like how you point out Harris problems but leave out the rest of the players.
Like the other poster said Harris is putting up double doubles ,who else is doing that ?he is a freshmen and more advanced than any other player on the team. You say he needs to make that next step ? well were still waiting on Hopson to make that next step instead of the next turnover.
