SJSU's MacIntyre to Colorado

Looks like Mike MacIntyre to Colorado. Think he was on a few VN fans' radar for a while as a candidate, me included. Did a tremendous job at San Jose State.

He's got his work cut out for him in Boulder. Below average facilities and rather disinterested fan base, at least as I hear tell.

Beautiful campus and surroundings. Once a good program (McCartney), hope it was a 6yr deal (similar to CBJ) with a sizable buyout---need to give this young, up-and-comer a chance.

Went on vacation in Colorado this past week with family. My stepmother's boyfriend played TE at Colorado in the 80s and on the last day was showing us around Boulder. Pulled in to the coaches parking lot because he wanted to meet the new coach and found MacIntyre standing there with another coach (I'm guessing). We walked up and introduced ourselves and he was very open and welcoming. This morning Coach MacIntyre sent an email telling us to come out for a game next season and he'd give us a tour. Very impressed by him reaching out to former players in such a manner after a five minute conversation in a parking lot. Hope he does well at CU.

As a UK fan this is the guy I least wanted to see in Knoxville, I expect to see big things from him in the future.
