I love this guy. I know a lot of people hate him but he cracks me up haha

On First Take, he just clowned Richardson's run on Ole Miss, said LSU's beatdown on Tennessee put them over the top and that Bama was only number 2 because everyone is biased towards the SEC. Pretty sure I heard him say OU was going to beat up on an SEC team in the championship. You gotta love this guy!

Yeah but guys a character for sure! I still remember him ripping on Chad Johnson / Ochocinco or whatever you want to call him. That was pure classic.

That segment was hilarious, sure there's an SEC bias but the conference has been earning it for the last 5 years.

I do actually have one First Take recorded, though, from the day the Titans cut Vince Young



The reason:

after those two were done yammering about Vince Young

- his "winning games," "being responsible alone for all those wins," and "being blackballed by the NFL," etc. (this was the day he got cut by the Titans) -

Mark Schlereth (who, apparently, was off screen during that) came out after the commercial break, sat down at the table, and told those two that they knew absolutely NOTHING about the topic they were talking about [paraphrased a bit, of course]

I honestly think that he doesn't believe half of what he says. He finds out what the others on his board think, and then just opposes them to be contumacious.
Chip Kain reminded me a lot of Skip Bayless, when he was in Knoxville.

This is also the same guy who said that Vince Young was going to be like a Superman amongst NFL QB's and win MULTIPLE Super Bowl's and MVP's.

Skip Bayless is...and I can't stress this enough...an IIIIIIIDIOT

I think he gets a little too into the debate and says some stupid things off the cuff. His love of Tebow is mindblowing. But he does hate on LeBron, something I can't fault him for. At the end of the day, he talks about what the producers tell him to talk about and whether we agree or disagree, he makes if entertaining. My most memorable Bayless moment was the Friday before the 05 Vandy game and he and woody wore Vandy and UT gear and argued for a minute about the game. We all know what happened in the game. The following Monday I thought he was going to let loose on Woody and UT and further the unforgivable and unbearable torment that I was going through. But he was actually pretty quiet about it and didn't gloat nearly as much as I had anticipated. Since then I've learned to tolerate him.
