Is it just me or McBee making some stupid plays by shooting 3 points in OT. It was only around 50 sec left, down by 3. I thought Vols going to score inside first which if they score, we would be down by 1, then hoping Ala. will make the turnover or miss the field goal which we could call timeout, and we would probably got a lot of time around 5 sec left or so. It pissed me off how McBee did that from behind the arc & he wasn' even that open. When McBee going to realize that he's ain't Chris Lofton? *SMH* :realmad:

The whole team, not just one player.

This is not a 3 point team by any means.

That shot at the 50 second mark rimmed out. I don't put that loss on him. 9 points and 6 rebounds from him. I think we'd take that every game. There's plenty of blame to go around. It doesn't fall squarely on his shoulders, imo.

He wouldn't have had to take that shot if goins didn't waste 20 seconds driving into the basket just to stop and dribble it back out

I'm not a McBee fan by any means but he had a decent game today. Biggest problem I have is we have no clue in the last seconds of a game. Melvin and Cam now that's another story.

They gave that game 2 them. TN offense just was not that good. They went almost 9 mins with no FG and still won. TN missed to many FT and stupid turnovers.

Cant put it all on McBee...his shot wasn't smart but neither were the other 129 3's we shot and missed this game.....Goins was horrid and our FT shooting was pitiful as well...total team "effort" dude!

McBee is shooting 17% from the 3 point line. Should have been our last option. Why was he on the court? I expected Goins to try that shot and of course fail.

McBee wasn't the problem at all. He played great perimeter d today and crashed the boards. He also hit a few big shots despite missing a few others.

If McBee scored 50 points you would say he tied his shoe laces wrong or find some other reason. I am sure it is because of your great ability to second guess the coaches from your sofa. McBee is not an all SEC player, but the coaches must believe he is the best option we have at this point. I personally thought he made some good plays today, but I guess you couldn't see them or something.

Really getting sick of folks smokin McBee. Goins is a bust 50% of the time. Why did we lose several of those giv-me-games...Goins. He seems to have the lowest basketball IQ of anybody that plays the game. I swear he doesn't have a clue what he is doing most of the time. I could pick on several others as well. But McBee isn't the problem.

Not a 3pt. team, but Skylar isn't that bad. If you listen to the coaches they usually say they want Skylar to keep shooting, even when they've not been falling. In the interest of fairness, he has started some rallies at crucial times this year with a couple of timely threes to get us back in the game (e.g. Vanderbilt- You lose that game w/o his 2 threes and 4-4 FT)

I hate to lose as bad as anybody, but hating on 17-22 year old kids is getting so old. If its not a bad shot or because he didnt choose UT during the recruiting process or missed a tackle or whatever they may do wrong the people who hate on these kids . . . . . . . WELL, THATS WHO REALLY SUCKS.

McBee is a 30% three point shooter. The coaches know that going in. No point in attacking him. His being on the floor is a coach's decision. He does try very hard, just isn't a very talented kid. It's not his fault he is getting major minutes in games like Alabama. At this point, I would much rather he had taken the last shot in regulation, rather than Goins.

Not really all that fair to Goins considering it was a forced up 3 as time expired with a hand in his face. Definitely a big failure on the coaching staff's part for that beaut of a play.
