I have seen him on the sidelines at home games. Is he off the radar screen as a reciever. Is he in the doghouse. Or is he a bust recruit.

you are certifiable. the season is pretty much over. you dont play a true freshman in the last three games unless everyone else is injured. you do not blow a year of eligibility for three games.

Did Urban Meyer play Josh Portis this year for a couple of snaps? I swear one of my friends said he lost his redshirt this year. Anyone know for sure?

It's called getting them some game experience for next year Patrick. And no I am not certifiable. I could retaliate with name-calling but I will refrain from that. I have coached before and I can tell you a few games under a player's belt will go a long way for the next season. Sometimes a coach has to look toward the future by giving players needed game experience. And you are not blowing a whole year of elgibility because you have to look at the whole picture from the present.

I have not heard many major college football caoches that will burn a year of eligibility for three games against lackluster teams. Unless there are serious injury issues. That statment is very short sighted.

Just looked him up, says he's from California, so probably not related... believe Clinton was actually from Gainesville.
